Helen Josephine retired in 2017 after a decade as head of the Terman Engineering Library at Stanford University. She leads a consulting firm, HBJ Associates, collaborating with Elsevier on Scopus, SciVal, and Pure Certification. As a member of the University Relations Working Group of SNSI (Security Network for Scholarly Infrastructure), she presents about cybersecurity threat awareness and prevention at SLA. Helen's career includes positions at Intel, the University of Hawaii, and Arizona State University. Her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) is from UC Berkeley. She is active in Toastmasters International, the SF Bay Area, SciTech, and Engineering Communities.
