Judith Currano has been the head of the University of Pennsylvania’s Chemistry Library since 1999. Her research interests are focused in two areas: teaching chemical information, including effective methods of teaching students to search and evaluate the chemical literature effectively, and research and publication ethics. Judith is a Fellow of the American Chemical Society, a past member and chair of the Board of Trustees of the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre and the president of the SLA Chemistry Community. In 2016, she received SLA’s Rose L. Vormelker Award for her teaching and mentoring work.
