Knowledge capture and transfer is an institutional issue that effects most industries. Especially within larger institutions like LLNL, poor knowledge capture and transfer can create an unclear cultural image of a workplace, in addition to contributing to information loss issues in other areas. This poster will review the ways that we have been working with different mediums to capture tacit knowledge via oral histories, to make these histories accessible within different formats, and to help fill in both the technical and cultural knowledge gaps for employees at different stages of their careers.
