Come learn how the Auburn Veterinary Medical Library collaborated with the League of Women Voters to host a voter registration event that helped students register and prepare to vote in the recent politically charged presidential election. The event provided resources for checking registration status, registering to vote, identifying polling stations, and applying for absentee ballots, making it particularly meaningful for first-time voters and out-of-state students who were not aware they could vote locally. This poster will showcase the event's outcomes and is offered in conjunction with a lightning talk (Engage, Educate, Empower (Part 1): A basic blueprint for a voter registration event in your library) that gives a broad overview of the process.
