Jane Kinney Meyers is the Founder and President of Lubuto Library Partners (LLP). Jane developed a network of research libraries and pioneered technology applications in Malawi in the 1980s on a World Bank project. She moved to neighboring Zambia in 1998 and established a reading program and library in response to Zambia’s growing number of street children. On her return to the U.S. in 2001, she developed the concept, approach and organization of LLP. Jane has an MLIS from the University of Maryland, is a member of Beta Phi Mu and has been an SLA member for over 40 years.
