Karen Neinstadt, MLIS (Senior Librarian, Reference and Outreach) is approaching her 17th year at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Library, where she researches complex reference questions to deliver data-driven results. She has worked with the agency’s Communications and Public Engagement office where she expanded her research to include the historical, cultural, political, and social fabric of groups and organizations with which MnDOT partners.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature/Creative Writing, Music Performance, and Spanish from Southwest (Minnesota) State University, and a Master of Library Science from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois.
