Laura Dowell (she/her) is the Health, Human Services and Nursing Librarian at CSU, Dominguez Hills. While completing her degree she served as the president of the SJSU Special Libraries Assoication Student Chapter (SLASC) from 2023-2024. She completed her MLIS from San Jose State University in 2024. Laura is passionate about equity and access in education, she is actively engaging in the field as a faculty librarian, focusing on fostering inclusive and innovative academic library services.
