Jill Strand is the Director of Research & Knowledge Services for Fish & Richardson, a top intellectual property law firm. She has worked as an information professional in law firms and with Target Corporation after earning her MLIS from Dominican University in 2003. Prior to her special libraries career, she was a regional sales manager for Simon & Schuster and is a graduate of the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University. As a Fellow and past-president of the Special Libraries Association, she has shared her insights and experience in numerous articles, book chapters and conference presentations.
